About Me

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in St Louis, Missouri. I studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati while working two sets of internships between university terms totalling six months at each, one at Gallagher & Associates, a museum exhibit design firm outside Washington, DC, and the other at Campion Platt Architect, a high-end residential design firm in New York City. After school I joined Frontenac Engineering Group in St Louis where I worked on a wide variety of projects including small residential renovations, new high-end homes, small commercial projects, and industrial sites. I also took on freelance architectural projects focusing mostly on residential renovations and additions.

Working in a diverse set of design firms on a wide variety of projects has taught me how to approach projects from different perspectives and to quickly adapt to the unique challenges each poses. Between being a part of small companies and undertaking freelance projects myself, I participated in each stage of the design process and have experience managing both the design and business sides of projects. I enjoy taking on new challenges both bringing my experience to and learning something new from each project that I work on.
